A Cut Above The Rest!, February 26, 2007
By J. Nowicki "The Boss and Mrs. B." (Bay City, Michigan United States)
Whoever designed the Sabrr Mark and Cut 5-in-1 Tape Measure is one smart person! I can measure, use the extension clip, mark my measurements with the pencil stored in its handy holder, scribe when I need to and cut with the utility knife all with this one tape measure. Using the Sabrr Mark and Cut together with my Vaughan Drywall Tool Hammer should make finishing the inside of our enclosed porch a lot easier. The Sabrr Mark and Cut measures over and above any other I've used. ~ The Boss |
Mark and cut is number one!, April 14, 2005
By Daniel Brace "DJB" (Micco, Florida USA)
After the hurricanes in Florida, Many people are waiting on insurance money to come and in some cases waiting on a contractor to be available. I choose to do it myself and not wait. I had half the drywall done when I found this tool. I was using the old T square and utility knife.
My work got so much faster and easier after this tool came to me. Especially on cutting boards long ways. You all know that we have to work extra hard to line the square up, hold it , cut a line and hope the two lines meet in the middle. On a 10 foot board, we have an extra 2 feet in the middle to patch cut.
No Worries.
With this tool the boards could be 20 feet long and I would have a perfect cut and break. If I did not go deep enough? It is still set to follow ther same line again for double scoring.
I actually got a great idea while using it and adapting my techniques. I cut the face and the back. Snap and it is extremely straight. No paper tearing and perfect cuts on both faces. None of the little jagged blurbs to go back on with the utility knife and shave flat like they were supposed to be. I bought a rasp plate body file for that task since it was common issue to deal with.
Every piece looks fantastic and no mudding to cover paper remnants or errors.
I am very happy with the tool. I would recommend to any do it yourselfer or drywall professional as I once was. I also used it to cut some paneling, cardboard and even trim carpet. I find more and more uses beyond the tools listed intent. Great tool.

SaBrr Mark Tool Review, June 8, 2004
By Michael Wiggins (Conyers, GA United States)
I am finishing my basement and I am having problems with cutting, measuring, and drawing straight lines to cut the sheet rock. I recently was searching the internet for a tool which would help me do this in a timely fashion. I found this product and instantly it saved me time and money. It allowed me to draw a straight line, measure the sheet rock, and cut all at the same time without having to grab different instruments. This is truly a great product. |

My wife had purchased the Sabrr as a gift for me. I do alot of hands on work around the house. I remodeled my home and my rental properties and this was a lifesaver when you have absolutely no one to help you cut sheetrock. The built in pencil holder is convenient when you are marking cabinets, walls, framing and ect...I have dropped this numerous times and the Sabrr holds up remarkably well. |
