I would recommend this tape for scribing. I was installing a laminate floor at the time I got this tape. Taking a 1" or 3" off a board was easier with it. It was as easy as snap your pencil in measure and mark. When it comes time to scribe again I will use it again..

I would recommend this product to others. I've always just used a standard tape measure and this is a huge improvement over that with the built in blade, drywall cuts are much easier. No more having to hold the end of my tape and my utility knife to make a long cut across sheetrock!! The feature for circular cuts is good, but takes a little practice to get the correct diameter.

This Sabrr is very well designed and certainly does cut your time in half. I used it while putting sheetrock in garage and the marking and cutting design save your time. I liked the fact that the case is 4" rather than an odd size 3 11/16" etc. I used it to cut sheetrock and found it easy to measure and make initial scoring cut in one pass.
